Mando Alvarado

Mando Alvarado is an American playwright, screenwriter, and actor originally from Pharr, Texas. He got involved with theater in middle school and began writing plays inspired by his experiences. His first full-length play was written while working a temp job in Midtown, New York City. After a successful reading with Raúl Castillo, Alvarado decided to focus on his writing career. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and has been a member of Rising Phoenix Rep and Company of Angels writer's group. Alvarado is known for his contributions to the theater and film industry as a talented playwright and screenwriter.
