Marc Lamont Hill
Marc Lamont Hill (born December 17, 1978) is an American academic, author, activist, and television personality. He is known for his work as a professor of urban education at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York City. Hill has hosted several television shows including UpFront on Al Jazeera English, VH1 Live! on VH1, and Basketball Wives reunion shows. He has also served as a BET News correspondent. Hill has previously worked as the first host of the syndicated television show Our World with Black Enterprise, the host of HuffPost Live, and a political commentator for CNN and Fox News. He was fired from CNN in 2018 following remarks on the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. Hill was born and raised in Philadelphia and has a close friendship with the late NBA star Kobe Bryant.
