Marcel Ruiz

Marcel Alejandro Ruiz Suárez, born on October 26, 2000, is a Mexican professional footballer known for his role as a midfielder in the Liga MX club Toluca. He began his career in the youth team of Querétaro, making his senior debut in Liga MX on July 21, 2018, against Atlas. At the age of 17, he became the youngest scorer of the season when he scored his first goal for the team in a 1–0 victory against Club Universidad Nacional on August 22, 2018. Ruiz has also represented Mexico at the under-20 and under-22 levels, participating in tournaments like the 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship and the 2019 Toulon Tournament.
