Marcel Simoneau

Marcel Simoneau (born June 22, 1978) is a Canadian actor based in New York City. He has appeared in several popular TV shows, including The Blacklist, God Friended Me, Gotham, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Fringe, Law & Order, Ed, and Strangers with Candy. Marcel has also made notable film appearances in The Rebound, Imperialists are Still Alive, Zenith, Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist, Stranger, and Kinsey. In addition to his on-screen work, Marcel has an extensive voice-over career, lending his voice to commercials for brands such as Budweiser, Canada Dry, NyQuill, GoDaddy, Goody, Chloe, BDO, MFS, and others. He has also contributed to TV shows and films such as Little Women, Emily in Paris, The Queen's Gambit, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Wildlife, High Maintenance, Super Troopers 2, What Just Happened, Royal Pains, and The Pirates of Somalia. Marcel's band, Hot Seconds, has been featured in various TV shows, including Shameless, The Unit, The Big Bang Theory, The New Girl, Gossip Girl, and The Office. Marcel studied at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, NYU, Columbia University, and the Maggie Flanigan Studio. He currently teaches the Method Acting technique.
