Marcello Fonte

Marcello Fonte (born 1978) is an Italian actor known for his critically acclaimed performance in the film Dogman, for which he won the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actor in 2018. Fonte grew up in the suburbs of Reggio Calabria where he developed a passion for acting. He moved to Rome in 1999 and began working in small roles in television and film productions. Throughout his career, Fonte has appeared in various films including Unfair Competition (2001), The Order (2003), and Pinocchio (2019). He has also been recognized with the European Film Award for Best Actor for his role in Dogman at the 31st European Film Awards in 2018.
