Marcia Ashton

Marcia Ashton is an English actress known for her roles in various television shows. She was born on 1 July 1932 in Sheffield, England. Ashton gained fame for her performances in soap operas such as Compact, where she portrayed the character of Lily, and Brookside, where she played Jean Crosby. Her extensive television credits include appearances in popular shows like EastEnders, Father, Dear Father, The Brothers, On the Buses, Upstairs, Downstairs, The Bill, Rumpole of the Bailey, Footballers' Wives, and Holby City. Ashton has also showcased her talent on the West End stage and Broadway. In addition, she has played notable Shakespearian roles, including Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
