Marco Perella Biography
Marco Perella (born May 18, 1949) is an American character actor and author, known for his small roles in motion pictures shot in Texas. He gained recognition for his performance as an abusive alcoholic second husband, Professor Bill Welbrock, in the film Boyhood (2014). Perella is also a bestselling author, with his book Adventures of A No Name Actor (2001) detailing his experiences and challenges in the acting world. Born in Houston, Texas, Perella studied at Stanford University before pursuing a career in acting. He has appeared in various film and television projects since the mid-1980s. Perella is married to actress Diane Perella and they have two children.
