Marcus Lovett is an American singer and actor who was born in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He is known for his roles in musical theatre, including leading roles in The Phantom of the Opera, Aspects of Love, Carousel, and King David. Lovett graduated with honors from Carnegie Mellon University, where he studied acting and singing. He made his Broadway debut as an understudy for the role of Marius Pontmercy in Les Miserables and simultaneously appeared on ABC's One Life to Live. Lovett has also performed in various Off-Broadway plays and musicals, including the original cast of Whistle Down the Wind. He has appeared on the original cast recording of King David.
