Cheatham has appeared in various feature films, including Soul Man, A Night at the Roxbury, Hanging Up, Labor Pains, and Letters to God. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she graduated from Bellaire High School in Bellaire, Texas. Cheatham was an original cast member of Days of Our Lives, playing the role of Marie Horton, the show's first heroine.
