Maree Cheatham

Maree Cheatham, born on June 2, 1940, is an American actress known for her work in daytime soap operas such as Days of Our Lives, Search for Tomorrow, and General Hospital. She also gained recognition for her role as Nona on the Nickelodeon comedy series Sam & Cat. Cheatham has appeared in various feature films, including Soul Man, A Night at the Roxbury, Hanging Up, Labor Pains, and Letters to God. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she graduated from Bellaire High School in Bellaire, Texas. Cheatham was an original cast member of Days of Our Lives, playing the role of Marie Horton, the show's first heroine. She later moved to New York and originated the role of a sarcastic and vampy character.
