Marg Helgenberger Biography
Marg Helgenberger is an American actress born on November 16, 1958, in Fremont, Nebraska. She began her career in the early 1980s, gaining recognition for her role as Siobhan Ryan on the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope (1982-1986). Helgenberger is best known for portraying Catherine Willows in the popular CBS police procedural drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000-2013) and its TV movie sequel, Immortality (2015). She won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in the ABC drama China Beach (1988-1991). Additionally, Helgenberger has appeared in TV shows such as Under the Dome and Intelligence, as well as films like Species (1995), Species II (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000), and Mr. Brooks (2007). She reprised her role as Catherine Willows in the season 2 of CSI: Vegas, which premiered in 2022.
