    Margaret Brennan (born March 26, 1980) is an American journalist based in Washington, D.C. She is currently the moderator of Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan on CBS News, as well as a fill-in and substitute anchor for CBS Evening News. Brennan has been the network's chief foreign affairs correspondent and a White House correspondent since 2012. Before joining CBS, Brennan anchored InBusiness with Margaret Brennan on Bloomberg Television and served as a CNBC correspondent contributing to various NBC News programs. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Gridiron Club, and also serves on the alumni advisory board at the University of Virginia School and the Advisory Board of the Smurfit School of Business at University College Dublin.
