Margaret Ladd Biography
Margaret Ladd (born November 8, 1942) is an American actress known for her roles in both film and television. She began her acting career in the 1960s on the soap opera A Flame in the Wind. Ladd has appeared in several films, including The Friends of Eddie Coyle (1973) and A Wedding (1978), as well as on popular television shows such as Taxi and Quincy, M.E.. She has also starred in a number of made-for-television movies and had supporting roles in films such as I'm Dancing as Fast as I Can, The Escape Artist, and The Whales of August. Margaret Ladd is best known for her role as Emma Channing in the CBS primetime soap opera Falcon Crest (1981–90). She has also appeared in Broadway shows such as My Sweet Charlie and Sheep on the Runway.
