Margaret Tyzack Biography
Margaret Tyzack (9 September 1931 – 25 June 2011) was an English actress. She was known for her roles in various television shows and films. On television, she appeared in The Forsyte Saga (1967), I, Claudius (1976), and Young Indiana Jones (1992-1993), among others. Tyzack won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress in 1970 for The First Churchills and the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play in 1990 for Lettice and Lovage. She also received two Olivier Awards. Her film credits include 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), A Clockwork Orange (1971), and Match Point (2005). Born in Essex, England, Tyzack attended St Angela's Ursuline School and RADA.
