Margo Price

Margo Rae Price is an American country singer-songwriter, producer, and author based in Nashville. Born on April 15, 1983, in Aledo, Illinois, Price grew up playing piano and singing in a church choir before studying dance and theater at Northern Illinois University. In Nashville, she worked various jobs, including waiting tables and teaching dance at a YMCA. Price gained recognition for her debut solo album, Midwest Farmer's Daughter, released in 2016 on Third Man Records. The album, recorded at Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, in just three days, received critical acclaim. She is backed by her band, The Pricetags, on tour. In December 2018, Price was nominated for Best New Artist at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
