Maria Bamford

Maria Bamford (born September 3, 1970) is an American actress and stand-up comedian known for her self-deprecating and dark comedy. She has explored topics such as her dysfunctional family, depression, anxiety, suicide, and mental illness in her work. Bamford's career includes multiple comedy albums and specials, starting with The Burning Bridges Tour (2003). She has also lent her voice to various animated shows like CatDog, American Dad!, Ugly Americans, Adventure Time, and BoJack Horseman. In film, she has appeared in Lucky Numbers (2000), Stuart Little 2 (2002), and Barnyard (2006), among others.
