Maria Elena Bello (born April 18, 1967) is an American actress, writer, and producer. She gained recognition for her role as Dr. Anna Del Amico on seasons three and four of ER (1997–1998). Bello's first major film role was in 1998's Permanent Midnight, and she went on to appear in various supporting and leading parts in films such as Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), Secret Window (2004), and A History of Violence (2005). She has also appeared in television shows such as Goliath (2016) and NCIS (2017–2021). Bello received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her role in the series Beef (2023).
