Maria McErlane (born 9 December 1957) is a British actress and presenter who specializes in comedy. She has been acting since 1984 and has appeared in various TV series, including The Fast Show, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Thin Ice, Happiness, The Bill, and Holby City. McErlane is also known as the narrator for Antoine de Caunes and Jean-Paul Gaultier's Eurotrash. In addition to her acting career, she has performed on the comedy circuit under the name 'Maria Callous' and has made guest appearances on shows like Have I Got News for You and Just a Minute on Radio 4. McErlane co-presented the ITV quiz show Carnal Knowledge with Graham Norton and has also collaborated with Norton on his BBC Radio 2 Saturday morning show.
