Maria Vacratsis (born July 28, 1955) is a Canadian actress known for her roles in various Canadian television series. She has appeared in popular shows such as Degrassi: The Next Generation, Little Mosque on the Prairie, Tactical Girls, and Rent-a-Goalie. Maria has also showcased her talent on the big screen, starring alongside Chris Farley and David Spade in the 1995 film Tommy Boy. She is widely recognized for her portrayal of Aunt Frieda in the movies My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002) and its sequel My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (2016). In addition to her acting work, Maria Vacratsis lent her voice to the character Queen Metaria (aka Negaforce) in the original English dub of Sailor Moon.
