Marian McLoughlin Biography
Marian McLoughlin (born 9 December 1952) is a British actress known for her roles in various TV shows. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Marina Bonnaire in the BBC soap opera Doctors. In 2009, she played Brenda Jacks in the BBC series Home Time, and in 2011, she appeared as Julia in Fast Freddie, The Widow and Me. McLoughlin recently appeared in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks as Sue Morgan. Prior to her acting career, McLoughlin trained to be a French teacher, graduated from Newman College, and completed a postgraduate diploma in Drama at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Her theatre work includes performances at the Royal National Theatre and Royal Court, while her TV credits include French Fields, Born to Run, and Nicholas Nickleby.
