Marianna Palka

Marianna Palka is a Scottish actress, producer, director, and writer. Born on 7 September 1981 in Glasgow, Scotland to Polish immigrant parents, Palka moved to New York City at the age of 17 to study at the Atlantic Theater Company. She gained recognition for her work on the film Good Dick, which she wrote, directed, and starred in. The film competed in the Dramatic Competition at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and received positive reviews for its exceptional acting and sincere portrayal of wounded characters. Palka has also appeared in various other films, including Neds, Restive, When You Find Me, Autumn Wanderer, and The Lion's Mouth Opens.
