Mariano Venancio (born 1947) is a Spanish stage, television, and film actor. Born in Salamanca, he studied childhood education in his hometown before moving to Madrid to pursue his passion for acting. While primarily known for his work on stage, Venancio has also made appearances in various films and television shows. Some of his notable television credits include Amar en tiempos revueltos, Cuéntame, Plutón B.R.B. Nero, and De repente, los Gómez. One of his most acclaimed performances was in the 2008 film Camino, where he portrayed José, a grieving father. This role earned him the Best Film Actor in a Leading Role award at the 18th Actors and Actresses Union Awards.
