Marina Franklin

Marina Franklin is an American stand-up comedian, actress, and podcast host based in New York City. Known for her work on the comedy special Single Black Female and the FX on Hulu series Hysterical, Franklin has established herself as a talented performer in the entertainment industry. She also hosts her own podcast called Friends Like Us. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Franklin attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Syracuse University. Her film and television credits include appearances on Crashing, Trainwreck, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. Franklin has also been a staff writer for the HBO comedy series Divorce. Additionally, her podcast appearances include WTF with Marc Maron, You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes, A Prairie Home Companion, Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!, and Friends Like Us.
