Marissa Neitling

Marissa Lee Neitling is an American actress, born on May 8, 1984, in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She is known for her roles in the TV series The Last Ship (2014-2018) as Kara Foster and the film San Andreas (2015) as Phoebe. Neitling graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 2002 and then attended the University of Oregon, where she majored in Math and Theater Arts. She later earned her MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama. Neitling made a brief appearance in The Go-Getter in 2007 and had a guest role on the series Leverage in 2011. Her breakout role came in 2014 when she was cast as Lt. Kara Foster in the TNT summer series The Last Ship.
