Marita Geraghty

Marita Geraghty (born March 26, 1962) is an American television and film actress. She gained recognition for her roles in several movies during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Geraghty is best known for her portrayal of Nancy Taylor in the film Groundhog Day. She was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois. Geraghty made her Broadway debut in 1987 in Coastal Disturbances. Throughout her career, she appeared in various films such as No Mercy, Hiding Out, Broadcast News, Fresh Horses, Sleeping with the Enemy, This Is My Life, Hero, Don Juan DeMarco, In the Flesh, and Use As Directed. Additionally, Geraghty made television appearances in shows like Spenser: For Hire, Hard Time on Planet Earth, Law & Order, and Against the Law.
