Mark Blum Biography
Mark Blum (May 14, 1950 – March 25, 2020) was an American actor known for his work in theater, film, and television. He gained recognition with his lead role in the 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan and a supporting role in Crocodile Dundee the following year. Blum received an Obie Award for his performance in the play Gus and Al during the 1988–1989 season. Throughout his career, he made guest appearances on numerous television shows and had a recurring role on the Amazon Prime series Mozart in the Jungle from 2014 to 2018. Blum was born in Newark, New Jersey, and grew up in Maplewood. He graduated from Columbia High School in 1968 and later graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.
