Mark Gessner is an American writer and actor. He was born in Sheffield, Vermont in 1980 and grew up in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. As a child, Gessner performed at Vermont Children's Theater in Lyndonville and later on the Fuller Hall stage at St. Johnsbury Academy. He studied acting at Marymount Manhattan College and improv at New York's Upright Citizens Brigade. Gessner has appeared in several films including 'God of Love' (2010), 'Youth' (2015), and 'Drunk Parents' (2019). On television, he has had roles in shows such as 'Person of Interest', 'Benders', 'Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll', and 'NCIS: New Orleans'. Gessner is set to guest star in an episode of 'NCIS: Hawaiʻi' in 2023.
