Mark Sayers McGrath (born March 15, 1968) is an American singer and actor. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Sugar Ray. McGrath has also made appearances in various television shows and films. He gained recognition as a co-host of Extra and as the host of Don't Forget the Lyrics! in 2010. McGrath also hosted the second season of Killer Karaoke, replacing Jackass star Steve-O. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, McGrath moved to Newport Beach, California at a young age. He attended Corona del Mar High School and later graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in communications in 1990. McGrath's musical career took off when he formed Sugar Ray with Rodney Sheppard, Murphy Karges, and Stan Frazier in 1992.
