Mark McKinney is a Canadian actor and comedian. He rose to prominence as a member of the sketch comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall, featuring in the TV series (1989-1995) and the film Brain Candy (1996). He gained further recognition as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 1997. McKinney also co-created, wrote, and starred in the series Slings & Arrows (2003-2006). He portrayed Tom in FXX's Man Seeking Woman and is widely recognized for his role as store manager Glenn Sturgis on NBC's Superstore (2015-2021). Born on June 26, 1959, in Ottawa, Ontario, McKinney's diverse upbringing, due to his father's diplomatic career, exposed him to various cultures and locations, including Trinidad, Paris, Mexico, and Washington, D.C.
