Mark Meadows
Mark Meadows is an American politician and former White House chief of staff. Born on July 28, 1959, he served as the 29th White House chief of staff from 2020 to 2021. Prior to this role, Meadows was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing North Carolina's 11th congressional district from 2013 to 2020. He was a founding member of the Freedom Caucus and served as its chair from 2017 to 2019. Meadows was known for his conservative views and played a significant role in the United States federal government shutdown of 2013. He resigned from Congress in March 2020 to join the Trump administration as chief of staff, where he influenced its response to various issues.
