Mark Moseley Biography
Mark DeWayne Moseley is an American former professional football player who was a placekicker in the National Football League (NFL) for 16 seasons. Born on March 12, 1948 in Livingston, Texas, Moseley initially played quarterback at Texas A&M University and Stephen F. Austin State University before transitioning to kicker for his senior season at Stephen F. Austin. He began his NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1970 and also played for the Houston Oilers, Washington Redskins, and Cleveland Browns. Moseley achieved great success during his time with the Redskins, winning the Most Valuable Player Award in 1982, making him the only pure special teams player to receive this honor.
