Mark Prendergast is a Scottish film, television, and theatre actor. He is best known for his roles in the BBC drama series Case Histories, the US TV series Outlander, and the BAFTA-winning feature film Running in Traffic. Prendergast has also appeared on stage in notable productions such as the World Premiere of DC Jackson's The Marriage of Figaro for the Royal Lyceum Theatre and the Fringe First and CATS award-winning 'Slick' by Vox Motus. Born in Stewarton, Ayrshire, Scotland, Prendergast attended Stewarton Academy and received professional training in acting at Langside College, Glasgow. In addition to his acting career, Prendergast has a passion for magic and has occasionally incorporated it into his theatre performances.
