Mark Steines

Mark Anthony Steines is an American broadcast journalist and actor. He is best known for his role as the host of the syndicated program Entertainment Tonight from 1995 to 2012. Steines was born on June 7, 1964, in Dubuque, Iowa. He graduated from Hempstead High School in 1982 and later attended the University of Northern Iowa, where he earned a B.A. in radio and television. In addition to his hosting career, Steines has also co-hosted Hallmark Channel's Home and Family from 2012 to 2018. He has competed in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race at the Long Beach Grand Prix four times, with his most recent participation being in 2013.
