Marsha Stephanie Blake (born c. May 1974) is an American actress known for her role as Linda McCray in the Netflix miniseries When They See Us. She was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her performance. Born in Jamaica, Blake immigrated to the United States in the late 1980s. She attended Dartmouth College and graduated in 1996, before earning an MFA from the graduate acting program at UCSD. Blake has appeared in various Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, including The Merchant of Venice and The Crucible. On television, she guest-starred in Law & Order, Elementary, and Orange Is the New Black, where she won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
