Marsha Francine Warfield (born March 5, 1954) is an American actress and comedian. She is best known for her role as Roz Russell on the Top 10 rated NBC sitcom Night Court from 1986 to 1992. Warfield also starred as Dr. Maxine Douglas on the sitcom Empty Nest from 1993 to 1995. Prior to her television career, she was a writer and performer on the Richard Pryor Show. Warfield has appeared in feature films such as D.C. Cab (1983) and Mask (1985), and has made guest appearances on numerous television shows. She has also done stand-up comedy, including appearances on The Comedy Shop. Warfield is a winner of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition.
