Marshall Bell Biography
Archibald Marshall Bell (born September 28, 1942) is an American character actor known for his roles in A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985), Stand by Me (1986), Twins (1988), Total Recall (1990), and Starship Troopers (1997). Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bell moved to Denver, Colorado at the age of 13. He attended St. Paul's boarding school in Concord, New Hampshire, and later Fountain Valley School in Colorado Springs. Despite initial discouragement, Bell pursued his interest in acting, making his movie debut in an undisclosed film. Prior to his acting career, he attended the University of Colorado and served in the Army. Bell later became a consultant, specializing in improving speaking skills for business executives.
