Martha Quinn Biography
Martha Quinn (born May 11, 1959) is an American actress, radio, and television personality. She is best known as one of the original video jockeys on MTV, alongside Nina Blackwood, Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter, and J. J. Jackson. Born in Albany, New York, Quinn is the daughter of Nina Pattison and David Quinn. She is also the stepdaughter of personal finance columnist Jane Bryant Quinn. Before her career at MTV, Quinn graduated from Ossining High School in 1977 and NYU in 1981. She gained attention when she happened to run into California record company executive Burt Stein at WNBC, where she had just finished interning. Since then, Quinn has made appearances in various television shows and films.
