Martin Clunes Biography
Martin Clunes is an English actor, comedian, director, and television presenter. Born on November 28, 1961, in Wimbledon (then in Surrey, now in Greater London), Clunes is best known for his roles as Martin Ellingham in the ITV comedy-drama series Doc Martin and Gary Strang in Men Behaving Badly. He has also narrated several documentaries for ITV, including Islands of Britain in 2009, and has presented documentaries focused on animals. Additionally, Clunes has voiced Kipper the Dog in the animated series Kipper. In 2015, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his contributions to drama, charity, and the community in Dorset.
