Martin Picard (born November 20, 1966) is a Canadian chef, author, and television personality. He gained recognition as the author of Au Pied de Cochon Sugar Shack, a book featuring 100 recipes centered around maple tree products. Picard is also known for hosting the Food Network (Canada) show "The Wild Chef." In 2006, he made a guest appearance on Anthony Bourdain's show No Reservations during the "Quebec" episode, where they visited a duck farm and enjoyed foie gras at Picard's renowned restaurant, Au Pied de Cochon in Montreal, Quebec. Time magazine has hailed Picard's restaurant as a "bastion of excess beloved by Anthony Bourdain and other gastronomes."
