Martin Sensmeier Biography
Martin Sensmeier is an American actor and model. Born on June 27, 1985, in Anchorage, Alaska, he was raised in Yakutat. Sensmeier is of Alaska Native and European American descent, with German and Tlingit heritage from his father's side, and Koyukon Athabascan from his mother's side. He identifies with the cultures of his Alaska Native grandmothers. Sensmeier gained recognition for his portrayal of Native American characters in various roles. He starred in the 2016 remake of The Magnificent Seven and had a recurring role as 'Wanahton' in the HBO series Westworld. Recently, he appeared as a physical therapist in the TV series Yellowstone and as a Comanche warrior named Sam in the prequel 1883, directed by Taylor Sheridan.
