Martin Wuttke

Martin Wuttke is a German actor and director, born on February 8, 1962. He gained international recognition for his portrayal of Adolf Hitler in the 2009 film Inglourious Basterds. Wuttke started his actor training at the college theater in Bochum and later attended the Schauspielschule Bochum. He has performed on various German-speaking stages including the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz Berlin, Berliner Ensemble, and Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz, among others. Wuttke has also worked at theaters in Hamburg, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Vienna, and Zurich. In addition to his acting career, he has been a director and ensemble member at the Burgtheater in Vienna since 2009.
