Marty Belafsky

Marty Belafsky is an American actor and comedian, born on September 19, 1975, in Los Angeles, California. He began his acting career at the young age of 13, appearing as Louis Plumb on the NBC series Hull High. Belafsky gained recognition for his role as Crutchie in the Disney musical film, Newsies. Throughout his teenage years, he made appearances in various television shows including The Wonder Years, Great Scott, and Step By Step, as well as the film Wrestling Ernest Hemingway. In 2006, Belafsky provided the voice for Kent Swanson in the popular video game series Dead Rising. After taking a break to attend Brown University, where he joined the improvisation comedy troupe Improvidence, Belafsky returned to Hollywood and pursued stand-up comedy. He was discovered by comedy legend Rodney Dangerfield and became his opening act at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
