Marvin Kalb
Marvin Leonard Kalb is an American journalist and former newsman for CBS News and NBC News. Born on June 9, 1930, Kalb became part of the later generation of the 'Murrow Boys,' having been recruited by Edward R. Murrow himself to join CBS News. He spent 30 years as a reporter, and during his time at CBS, he was included on Richard Nixon's 'enemies list.' Kalb later served as the chief diplomatic correspondent and host of Meet the Press at NBC News. In addition to his journalism career, Kalb was the founding director of the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard University. He is currently a James Clark Welling Fellow at George Washington University and a member of the Atlantic Community Advisory Board.
