Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (born November 17, 1958) is an American actress known for her notable roles in movies and on stage. She gained recognition in the 1983 film Scarface, playing the character of Gina Montana, sister to Al Pacino's character. Mastrantonio's performance in the 1986 film The Color of Money as Carmen earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She has appeared in other successful films like The Abyss (1989), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), and The Perfect Storm (2000). In addition to film, Mastrantonio has also showcased her talent on Broadway, including a Tony Award nomination for her role in the revival of Man of La Mancha in 2003. Born and raised in Lombard, Illinois, she studied drama at the University of Illinois before pursuing her acting career.
