Mary Jo Catlett (born September 2, 1938) is an American actress known for her roles in various television shows and stage productions. She is most recognized for her voice work as Mrs. Puff on the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. Catlett originated the role of Ernestina in the 1964 Broadway production of Hello, Dolly! and played Pearl Gallagher, the third housekeeper on Diff'rent Strokes. Throughout her career, Catlett has appeared in numerous television shows including M*A*S*H, The Dukes of Hazzard, and General Hospital. She has also received accolades such as Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards and a Daytime Emmy Award nomination.
