Mary Louise Wilson (born November 12, 1931) is an American actress, singer, and comedian. With a career spanning over 50 years, she has appeared in numerous plays, films, and television shows. Wilson achieved critical acclaim and won a Tony Award for her role in the Broadway production of Grey Gardens. She is also recognized for her appearances on the television series One Day at a Time. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Wilson was married to fellow actor Alfred 'Chibbie' Cibelli for three years. Some of her notable Broadway performances include Flora, The Red Menace, Promises, Promises, Gypsy: A Musical Fable, and The Importance of Being Earnest.
