Mary Pat Gleason (February 23, 1950 – June 2, 2020) was an American film and television actress and Emmy Award-winning writer. She gained recognition for her role as 'Jane Hogan' on the soap opera Guiding Light from 1983 to 1985. Gleason was born in Lake City, Minnesota, and began her acting career in a 1982 episode of the soap opera Texas. She went on to appear in numerous television series, including Full House, Murphy Brown, Friends, and Step by Step. Gleason also appeared in over 50 feature films, such as Basic Instinct, Traffic, Bruce Almighty, and Killing Kennedy. She was a talented actress and writer, making significant contributions to the entertainment industry throughout her career.
