Mary Stein Biography
Mary Stein is an American actress, born in Marquette, Michigan. She grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and began her acting career in plays. Stein graduated from Franklin High School and received a B.A. degree from Marquette University in 1980. She then attended the Juilliard School's Drama Division as a member of Group 13 (1980–1984). Her first screen acting job was in the 'Time's Arrow' episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, where she played an alien nurse. Stein has since appeared in various film and television roles, including Miss Floom in Babe: Pig in the City and Miss Rue Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She has also been seen as Ms. Sneed on General Hospital and Gerda in Providence. Stein has shown her versatility as an actress throughout her career.
