Massimo Bottura

Massimo Bottura (born September 30, 1962) is an Italian restaurateur and the chef patron of Osteria Francescana, a three-Michelin-star restaurant located in Modena, Italy. Known for his innovative approach to traditional Italian cuisine, Bottura has garnered international acclaim for his culinary creations. Osteria Francescana has been ranked No. 1 on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list twice and is currently part of the Best of the Best list. Born and raised in Modena, Bottura developed a passion for cooking at a young age, inspired by his family's culinary traditions. Prior to pursuing a career in the food industry, he briefly studied law at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
