Matt Berry Biography
Matthew Charles Berry (born May 2, 1974) is an English actor, comedian, musician, and writer. Best known for his roles in comedy series such as The IT Crowd, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, The Mighty Boosh, Snuff Box, What We Do in the Shadows, and Toast of London, Berry has also co-created Toast of London. He won the 2015 BAFTA Award for Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme for his work on the show. In addition to his acting career, Berry has released nine studio albums as a musician. He was born in Bromham, Bedfordshire, and attended Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 1999 with a BA in contemporary arts.
