Matt Corboy Biography
Matt Corboy (born June 4, 1973) is an American actor known for his work in both films and television series. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and later attended Colorado State University, earning a degree in business. Corboy began his acting career in 1996 and has since appeared in numerous commercials, films, and television shows. He is best known for his role as Officer Ray Carlson in 17 episodes of the hit series The Shield. In 2011, Corboy received critical acclaim for his performance as Cousin Ralph in The Descendants, which won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Additionally, Corboy has showcased his poker skills as the lead commentator for the Professional Poker Tour in 2006. Currently, he can be seen in the recurring role of Jared Preston Jr. on the ABC soap opera General Hospital.
